Charles W. Ford, 87, of New Haven, passed away Tuesday.
He was born in Derby to the late Harry and Lucy Carey Ford on Aug. 14, 1929. He served honorably in the U.S. Army and worked as a truck driver for a local moving company.
Charles leaves to cherish his memory, son, Charles King Ford; daughters, Patricia King; brother, Clarence Ford, Sr.; granddaughter, Terri Ford; niece, Cheryl Ford; nephew, Clarence Ford, Jr.; and a host of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his sons, Ralph Ford and David King; and daughter, Terri McDuffie.
A celebration of life will take place Saturday at 1 p.m. at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 1287 Chapel St, New Haven, CT 06511.
