Chester Cash, 68, of New Haven, entered eternal rest on March 26, 2018.
Mr. Cash was born in Chesterfield, S.C. on Feb. 10, 1950, a son of the late Robert and Odessa Cash. He was the widower of Paula Cash. Prior to retiring, he was employed at Sargent Manufacturing as an assembler.
Mr. Cash leaves to cherish loving memories, a son, Daniel Cash; daughter, Tanette Rigsby; a brother, Raymond Cash; sisters, Katherine Lockwood (Lawrence) and Ola Mae Kelly; a grandchild, Jai T. Cash; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Clayton Cash; and two sisters, Thelma Kelly and Redessa George.
A celebration of Mr. Cash’s life and legacy will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at New Flame Restoration Center, 1375 State St., New Haven. Viewing will be held at the church from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Professional services entrusted to Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven.
