Chrystina Coward, 35, formerly of New Haven, passed away April 4, 2017.
She was born in New Haven to Robert (Hazel) Coward and Dawn Barham (Timothy) Mullen. She relocated to North Carolina and worked as customer service representative at Convergys.
Besides her loving parents, Chrystina leaves to cherish her memory, son, Cory Coward; fiancée, Hadadi Smith; sisters, Joy Pollock, Lanisha Dent, and Angela Bell; brother, Joshua Smith; grandmother, Jacqueline Barham; great-grandmother, Janie Sherman; and a host of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her brother, Cory Barham; and grandparents, Dr. Melvin Barham, Sr., Emma Lou Taft, Buddy Jones, and Patsy Barrett.
A celebration of life will take place April 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. at The New Trinity Temple C.O.G.I.C., 285 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511. Friends may call Thursday at the church from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven. Services by Howard K.
