Cora Lee Langley Smith 82, of Whalley Ave in New Haven, passed away on June 26, 2013, at the Apple Rehab Laurel Woods Facility.
She was born on January 9, 1931 in Greenville, NC. to the late, Jordan Langley and Hattie (Daniels) Langley. She leaves to cherish her memories, daughters, Cora Jean Smith of NC., Sheila Smith of New Haven; sisters, Pastor Martha V. Green, Predency Daniels both of New Haven; granddaughter and caretaker, Janice L. Smith, and a host of other relatives and friends. A celebration of her life will take place Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 11:00AM at St. Mary’s Unison Freewill Baptist Church, 49 Goffe Street New Haven, CT., with calling hours, Wednesday, from 9 – 11AM at the church.
