Daisy B. Smith, 74 of New Haven, born April 30, 1940 in Orangeburg, SC to the late Jake Riley and Albertha Griddle entered into eternal rest on July 21, 2014.
She was retired from the Visiting Nurse Association. She leaves to cherish her memory; son, Nathan Smith; daughters, Denise, Diane, Barbara Smith, Donchelle Fidalgo; brother, Joseph Riley; sisters, Julia Randolph, Effie Chambers; 27 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. She raised two grandchildren Christina Taylor and Ronald Davis. She was predeceased by; sons, Isaac and Ronald Smith and 8 brothers. A celebration of her life will take place, Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Living Water Citadel Center Of Worship,848 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden with calling hours Tuesday at the church from 9 – 11:00 AM.
