David Ford, 68

David Ford, 68, of New Haven, departed this life February 13, 2013. He was the husband of Pearlene Ford.
Born in New York, NY, May 3, 1944, he was the son of the late Robert and Irene Ford.
Prior to retiring in 2010, he was employed at Yale University.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, David Earl, Vermont and Andre E. Ford, daughters, Ramona Moore (Gregory) and Dana Baughns (Jules); sisters, Pearlene Bromell, Helen Green and Bessie Greene; eight grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by a brother, Frank Ford.
A celebration of Mr. Ford’s life and legacy will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Matthew’s UFWB Church, 400 Dixwell Ave., New Haven. Viewing and visitation will be held at the church from 10:00-11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Professional services entrusted to Curvin K.
