Davinya K. Hawkins, 24, of New Haven born on December 18, 1991 to David and Nikki (Woodhouse) Hawkins both of New Haven received her angel wings June 23, 2016.
Davinya was gainfully employed at Yale New Haven Hospital as a dietary technician. She will be remembered for her colorful spirit and the love she held for her brother. She found peace in writing and relaxing in her downtime. Besides her parents Davinya leaves behind to cherish her memory brother David Hawkins of New Haven, Grandmothers Eloise Hawkins, Verleen Woodhouse, and Cheryl Brown, grandfathers Gregory Gibbs and David Zimmerman, and a host of relatives and friends. A celebration of her life will take place Thursday June 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Union Temple FWB Church; 54 Platt St., New Haven, CT 06511 with a calling hour at the church from 10:00 – 11:00 AM.
