Dee Dee” Bonner, 60

Delores Dee Dee” Bonner, of New Haven, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 3, at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. She was surrounded by her loving family after her courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on Feb. 12, 1951, in New Haven to the late Harry and Helen Murray Bonner.

She is survived by a brother, Carleton L. Bonner (Rose); nieces and nephews, Shontae Bryant, Lauren Bonner, and Carleton Bonner II of Inglewood, Calif. She is also survived by Joyce, Alma and Joann Spruill, Deborah Spruill-Watters, Tearies Spruill-Willoughby (Clarence), Nadine Mangum, Gloria Whitty, Gwendolyn Bonner-Bennett (Charlie), Timothy, Melvin, Marvin and Kevin Spruill of New Haven, and Kenneth Spruill of Richmond, Va., and a host of family and friends. 

She was predeceased by a sister, Mary L. Bonner-Spruill, and a brother, Harry Bonner Jr. 

A celebration of her life will take place on Friday, June 10, at 11 a.m. at First Calvary Baptist Church, 605 Dixwell Ave. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 10 – 11 a.m. Interment will be held in Evergreen Cemetery.
