Doris Nicholas Rodman, 88, passed away October 30, 2014 in the Mary Wade Nursing Home in New Haven.
She was the widow of LeRoy Rodman, Jr. Born in New Haven, CT on May 7, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Albertha (Stanley) Nicholas and the step-daughter of the late Rosanna Benjamin. She retired from Colonial Bank (now Bank of America) in 1986. She is survived by one son, LeRoy Rodman, III of NJ, three daughters, Linda Rodman and Sherrill Rodman, both of New Haven and Eileen Rodman of Branford. She is also survived by one grandson, Matthew Washington of NJ, one niece, Andrea Smith of New Haven, and one cousin, Francil Hull of Hamden.
A celebration of her life will take place Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 111 Whalley Ave, New Haven, CT 06511 with visitation Tuesday at the church from 10 – 11:00 AM.
