Eloise Pullen, 73, of New Haven, departed this life August 19, 2010.
Born in Hailfax County, NC, December 15, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Jimmy and Lelia Silver.
She was employed as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant.
Mrs. Pullen leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Thomas Pullen; children, Angela Pullen Heath, Carlton Pullen, Thomas Pullen, Jr. and Prophetess Ecclesiastes Marquez; brothers, Donald and Jimmy Silver; sisters, Maebelle and Maggie Richardson, Cora Davis and Jamilah Wali; nineteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Ernestine Silver Youins; brothers, Howard, James and Marlo Silver; and a sister, Ethel Davis.
A celebration of Mrs. Pullen’s life and legacy will be held Friday, August 27, 2010, at 10:00 AM at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Burial will be private. Online guestbook available at www.curvinkcouncil.com
