Enid May Taylor Walker, 56, of New Haven, departed this life May 12, 2012.
She was the wife of Ridley Walker.
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, November 4, 1955, she was the daughter of Doris Drummond and the late Dennis Taylor.
Mrs. Walker was employed as a private duty Child Care Provider. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church of God.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a son, Brian Taylor; daughters, Shirlene Thomas-Douse and Marie N. Smith; brothers, Leebert, Donald and Winston Williams; sisters, Cheryl Williams, Patricia Briley, Hermine Barrett and Joan Williams Christian; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by a brother, Barrington Taylor.
A celebration of Mrs. Walker’s life and legacy will be held Saturday, May 26, 2012, at 9:00 A.M. at Christian Fellowship Church of God, 1229 Campbell Ave., West Haven. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Viewing and visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven.
