Ernestine R. (Elliott) Murray, 87 of New Haven, born June 21, 1927 in Yonkers, NY to the late Joseph Fidalgo and Vandina Stephens, entered eternal rest on October 22, 2014.
She leaves to cherish her memory; sons, Joseph Elliott (Cheryl), Jr. of NC, John Elliott (Rochelle), Michael Elliott, Bernard Murray all of New Haven; daughter, Geraldine Elliott of Hamden; only surviving sibling, Lorraine Fidalgo of New Haven; 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. A celebration of her life will take place Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 1287 Chapel St. New Haven, CT 06511, with visitation Tuesday at the funeral home from 9 – 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery.
