Eula Mae Whitley, 68, of New Haven; born August 21, 1947 in Abbeville, SC to the late James Harrison and Jessie Bell Davis, passed away on October 30, 2015.
Eula loved dancing, especially to the music of James Brown, and cooking. She leaves to cherish her memory; her beloved husband Lynwood Whitley, Jr.; son Lynwood Whitley, III; daughter Kimberly A. Whitley; brothers Robert Gaskin and Edward Davis; sisters Maggie Maddox and Henrietta Davis; 3 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and a host of family and friends. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 granddaughters. A Celebration of her life will take place on Friday November 6, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses — West Rock Congregation; 885 Wintergreen Avenue, Hamden, CT 06514 with visitation Friday from 9:00 – 10:00 AM.
