Fannie M. Hobson of Hamden, CT was peacefully called home on Monday January 18, 2010 at CT Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on August 10, 1942 to the late Willie Wilson and Claire Morgan. Wife of Clarence (Pete) Hobson. Fannie Hobson was a retiree of SNET and ST. Raphael’s. Besides her husband she leaves to cherish her 9 children, 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her father Willie Wilson, mother Claire Morgan, Step Father Albert Morgan and two sisters Betty Jean Green and Willie Mae Wilson-Rountree. A celebration of her life will take place Saturday January 23, 2010 at 9:30 AM Varick A M E Zion Church, 242 Dixwell Avenue, New Haven, CT 06511. Friends may call Saturday at the church from 8:30 – 9:30 AM. Interment immediately following at Beaverdale Memorial Park.
