Flora M. Sullivan, 63

Flora M. Sullivan, 63, of New Haven, entered eternal rest on April 28, 2017.

Born in Fairmont, N.C. on July 31, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Rudolph and Jether Thompson. Flora was previously employed at Yale University.

She leaves to cherish loving and lasting memories, sons, Terrance Thompson, Luther Sullivan III and Corey Sullivan; daughters, Eboni Jackson Gordon (Denarian) and Tanya Suggs; a brother, Rudolph Thompson, Jr.; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by brothers, Vernon and James Buddy” Thompson; and a sister, Kimberly Greene.

A celebration of Ms. Sullivan’s life and legacy will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Christian Love Center, 154 Derby Ave., New Haven. Viewing will be held at the church from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Professional services entrusted to Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven.
