Flossie “Flottie Mae” Myers, 64, of New Haven, CT passed away June 15, 2010 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 16, 1946 in Chesterfield, SC to J.B. and Luea Malloy Myers of New Haven, CT. Besides her parents she leaves to cherish her memory; loving soul mate for over 40 years, William Rollins; daughters, Wanda (David) Crudup and Tyla Myers of New Haven, CT; sons, Charles (Angela) Myers of Hartford, CT, Samuel (Adia) Myers Collins of Oakland, CA, Levon Myers Sowell of New Haven; brother, Levaster Myers of New Haven, CT; sister, Beatrice Myers of New Haven, CT; grandchildren, DaJuan, DyOnne, Ashleigh, Courtney, TreRonn, Amil, 3 great-grandchildren; step daughter, Anette Baker of NC, step sons, Terry Shepard of New Haven and Jerry Rollins of NC, goddaughter, Urana Gibson Brockett of New Haven, CT and a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends, and loving family, Ramon and Vicky DeLeon. She was predeceased by son, Leon Myers and brothers Jay D. and Ronnie Myers. A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday June 19, 2010 at Faith Baptist Church, 39 Emma Street, West Haven, CT 06516. Service will begin at 9AM, friends may call at the church on Saturday 8 – 9AM. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven, CT. Services by Howard K.
