Frederick (Roland) Green, 52, of New Haven, died February 7, 2012 at Advanced Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of New Haven.
Born in Jamaica, July 3, 1959, he was the son of Darian Green and the late Victor Green.
Mr. Green migrated to the United States in 1977 and later became a self-employed mechanic.
He was a member of Evergreen Ministry.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters; three brothers; seven children; a grandchild; and other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Mr. Green’s life and legacy will be held Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 9:00 A.M. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven.
