Harold Bradley, 62, of New Haven, born on Dec. 14, 1953 in Kingstree, S.C. to the late Harold Bradley and Louise Woods, passed away March 15, 2016 in Bridgeport.
Harold will be remembered for his honorable service in the United States Air Force. After leaving the service he joined the NHPD and remained there for 4 years; he was also a leader for the Boy Scouts. He worked at the United States Post Office for 18 years.
He enjoyed hobbies such as fishing, television, gardening, hanging out with his dog Gabby, and grand-dogs Chester and Dutchess, listening to oldies music, and telling war stories.
He leaves to cherish his memory loving wife Shelley Bradley of New Haven, son Carlos Gore of West Haven, daughters; Nicole Bradley, Kathryn Bradley, Terry Ritter all of New Haven, and Crystal Gore of West Haven, sisters; Phyllis Young (Harry), Diane Ritter both of SC, and Diane H. Dent of Meriden, brother Dr. Steven Jordan (Paulette) of VA, 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. A celebration of his life will take place Thursday March 24, 2016 at 11 AM at Community Baptist Church; 143 Shelton Ave. New Haven, CT 06511; with visitation Thursday at the church from 9 – 11 AM. Interment will take place at Beaverdale Memorial Park, Inc.; New Haven, CT.
