Harrolyn Gaddy, 52

Harrolyn Juliet Gaddy was born to Jane Elizabeth and Huey Gaddy in New Haven Connecticut on April 22,1959. She was a graduate of High School In The Community, and attended South Central Community College where she received her associates’ degree in social work. She was employed with the state of Connecticut and retired in 1994. Harrolyn resided in Branford with her sister Lori Palmer, where she helped raise her niece and nephew Alicia and Christian Palmer. Harrolyn was a very loving daughter, sister, and aunt who had many talents including art, writing, cooking, and in fact even taught her siblings how to cook. She has one novel copy written and is ready to be published. She shared her love of reading with her 16 nieces and nephews. She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Jane Elizabeth Gaddy and Huey Gaddy, her stepmother Shirley Gaddy, her four sisters Londa Campbell, Lori Palmer, Andrea LaMont, Kimberly Hammonds, and one brother Kevin Gaddy; as well as two stepsisters Laina Cox and Lisa Koker. She is predeceased by her maternal grandmother Elizabeth Nixon, paternal grandparents Luvenia and Celmer Gaddy, and brother Mark Gaddy. A celebration of her life will take place on Monday August 1, 2011 at 11:30AM at Cornerstone Christian Center, 192 Meadow Street, Milford, CT with calling hours from 10 – 11:30AM. Interment will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Service by Howard K.
