After a long, courageous battle with cancer, Hector Hernandez of New Haven, CT passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014, with his family by his side.
Hector known as Bebo was born in Boston, Mass on Aug 7, 1996. Son of Rosa Gracia of New Haven and Hector Hernandez of New Jersey. Hector graduated from Wilbur Cross H.S. He is survived by his stepfather, Jolly Diaz, his two sisters, Yaremi and Kelly Hernandez of Boston MA. In addition he leaves behind his extended family of grandparents, stepsisters, nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. The Gracia, Diaz and Hernandez families would like give special thanks to the staff at Smilow Cancer for all their care.
Viewing will take place on Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 5 – 7pm at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 1287 Chapel Street, New Haven, CT 06511. Going Home Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in New Haven at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Maria Moore, 155 Cedar St., New Haven, CT 06519, and arrangement in care of Hector Hernandez.
