Hyacinthe (Vonn) Penn, 56, of New Haven,CT departed this life peacefully on December 18, 2013.
She was the daughter of the late Shirley Penn Buxton and Christopher Penn. She leaves to cherish her memory, children Shartarra Penn-Clarke, Schawn Penn-Clarke, Schakema (Renaldi) Clarke-Dixon, Schundrea “Eva” (Vlowski) Hampton, Josiah Triumph, Christopher and Christian Jenkins. She also leaves 14 grandsons, 6 granddaughters, 5 brothers, 4 sisters, 6 goddaughters, 5 godsons and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, family and friends. She was a member of Deliverance Temple Church where she founded “Helping Hands” Ministry. She also worked with Empowerment Temple’s (Baltimore, MD) Internet Ministry. A memorial service and reception celebrating her life will be held Noon, Sat., January 4, 2014 at Strong Tower PMI, 77 Willow St, 2nd Fl, New Haven.
