J.B. Myers of 191 Spring St., New Haven departed this life on March 21, 2016.
He was born on July 28, 1924 in Chesterfield, SC to the late Ceola and Mae Streater- Myers. Mr. Myers was very active in his church; he was married for 70 years and loved his family. Besides his loving wife Luea Malloy-Myers, he leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter, Beatrice Myers of New Haven, one son, Levester Myers of New Haven; two sisters, Juanita Ratliff and Coralee Williams both of New Haven; 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. He is predeceased by one daughter, Flottie Myers; two sons, Jay D. Myers and Ronnie Myers; one sister, Claudia Pue and one grandson, Leon Myers. Services will be held Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Faith Missionary Baptist Church, 39 – 41 Emma St., West Haven. Viewing from 8 to 9am and service at 9am.
