Jill Lynette Williams

Jill Lynette Williams, 52, of New Haven passed away on Feb. 5. Born to the late Frederick Jerry” Williams Sr. and Jeanne Randolph Williams on May 8, 1958, in New Haven. 

Among her many passions in life, Jill loved children, line dancing, swimming and cooking. She was famous for her potato salad and macaroni salad, which was a favorite family recipe.

Jill leaves to cherish her memory: brothers Frederick Jerry, Jr.” (Terry) Williams and Jeffrey Williams, both of New Haven, and James Williams of Lithonia, Ga.; nephews Jeffrey and Tylan Thompson, and Byron Pinkston; nieces Danielle Williams and Shanae Walters; goddaughter Shannell Sykes; special grandson, Brandon Ellison Jr.; and special cousins, Cheryl Williams and Joyce Blandon. Other survivors include uncles Raymond, Jr., William and Kenneth Randolph; and aunts Hattie Evans, Sandra Randolph and Pamela Jones.

A celebration of life will take place on Feb. 14 at 11 a.m. at Christian Tabernacle Church, Newhall Street, Hamden. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 9 – 11 a.m. Interment will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Service by Howard K.
