Joanne Marjorie Ross, 83, of New Haven, CT born on December 22, 1931 in Westfield, NJ to the late Elinor Brown, passed away September 11, 2015. Marjorie had worked at Sargent for 25 years.
She loved trips to Mohegan Sun, playing bingo, traveling and listening to the music of Otis Redding. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She leaves to cherish her memory; daughters Marjorie (Leslie) Russell of NC, Linda A. Douglas of Hamden and Shirley “Cooky” (Ulysses) Williams of SC; brothers Lawrence (Marilyn) Rogers and William (Helen) Rogers both of New Haven; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and a host of family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Ross as well as sisters Shirley Towles, Elinor Nelson, Clara Davis, Elizabeth Fain (Anderson) and brothers Albert, George (Bubby) and Herbert Rogers.
