John A. Kennon, 90, of New Haven passed away on January 25, 2013.
John was born to the late James Kennon and Mary (McNeely) Kennon on November 2, 1922 in Pennington, AL. He leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife, Ronitha Kennon of New Haven; daughters, Gloria Jean Faber-McFadden (Larry) of Hamden, Carolyn Odessa Jackson, Karen Melina Kennon, both of New Haven; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by, son, John David Kennon; brothers, Willie Herbert Kennon, Joe Louis Kennon, Walter Kennon; sisters, Bessie Lee, Mary Wells. A Celebration of his life will take place on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 10AM at Christian Tabernacle Baptist Church, 449 Newhall St. Hamden, CT 06517 Friends may call Thursday from 9 – 10AM at the church.
