Jose “Jonathan” Latham, 57, of Sheldon Terrace in New Haven, passed away on August 8, 2013, at Yale Health Services in New Haven, CT.
He was born on March 20, 1956 in Saskatchewan, Canada to the late John Latham and Marla (Huber) Latham. Jose was a loving and devoted husband to Shawne Lumpkin-Latham for 20 years. He worked for Imprint Printing Co. as a First Pressman for 9 years. Jose graduated from Boston University with an Associate’s Degree in Journalism, where his passion was photography. He also enjoyed antiquing. Besides his loving wife, Shawne, he leaves to cherish his memories, daughter, Ashley Latham of New Haven; brothers, Kevin and Louis Stamford both of New Haven; foster-mother, Dorothy Harper of New Haven and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by, foster-father William Harper. A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 11AM at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1324 Chapel Street, New Haven, CT 06511, the family will be greeting friends and relatives from 10 – 11AM at the church.
