Jose M. Torres, 81, of Hamden passed away on February 14, 2013.
Jose was born to the late Gabriel Torres and Sixta (Alvares) Torres on March 20, 1931 in Ponce, PR. He leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, Eludina Torres of NJ., Ana Torres of Hamden, Matilda Torres, Sonia Torres both of DE., Rosa Torres of FL.; sons, Jose R. Torres of NC., Jose A. Sotomayor of CT; 34 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by, wife, Eludina Torres, son, Jose M. Torres Jr.; daughter, Sixta Torres. A Celebration of his life will take place on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 11AM at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 1287 Chapel St. New Haven, CT 06511.
