Joseph J. Hull “Joe” died peacefully in his sleep at Gaylord Hospital on October 10, 2014.
He was born in Hartford, CT on March 24, 1935 to the late Peter and Anna Folger Hull. Mr. Hull leaves to mourn his passing, his long time companion Toni Longley, and many friends.
Mr. Hull worked for the City of New Haven Purchasing Department as a Procurement Analyst. During his employment with the City, Mr. Hull served as Chief Steward for Local AFCME 3144. He retired from the City in 2001 and was active in local politics for many years. He loved to travel to Marrakesh, Morocco and the Mohegan Sun Casino. He raised African violets and Siamese cats and was an avid reader. A celebration of his life will take place Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at Bella Vista/Victoria Room.
