Joyce Holmes “Honey Bunch” passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2012.
Born to the late Arthur and Lillie Mason in Little Rock, AR. Joyce served in the Air Force and retired from SCCC as a math professor. She honored her family who meant everything to her. She leaves to cherish her memory; sons, Gregory K. Holmes (Tarshia) and Keith Moore all of Cheshire, CT; daughters, Shelley L. McClain (Robert) of Monroe, NC and Audra A. Homes-Greene (Robert) of New Haven, CT; brother, Bennie Johnson of New Haven; sister, Emily Mason of New Haven, CT; (12) grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister Thelma Clark. A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 9AM at The New Trinity Temple COGIC, 285 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511 with calling hours at the church on Saturday from 8 – 9AM.
