Julien L. “Poo” Morant, 38, of Warwick St., New Haven, born November 1, 1975 to the late Franklin Levi and Linda Morant of New Haven, entered into eternal rest on May 13, 2014.
Julien was a member of Christian Union Full Gospel Outreach Ministries, Oriental Lodge No. 6, F&AM, PH, owner of Moe Love’s Barber Shop on Lombard Street and was employed with the Department of Corrections, State of CT. He leaves to cherish his memory; mother, Linda Morant; brothers, Frank (Jayme), Leander, Stefon (Kimberly) Morant; sister, Georgette Wilson all of New Haven; best friend, Victor Rosario; Godchildren, Priya Jones, Ayden Martinez and host of relatives and friends. A celebration of his life will take place Wednesday May 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Christian Union Full Gospel Outreach Ministries, 426 Washington Ave., West Haven, CT 06516 with calling hours at the church from 9-11:00 AM.
