Kenneth Barnes of New Haven passed away on Oct. 16, 2016. He was 51 years old.
Born on Oct. 7, 1965 in Flushing, N.Y., to the late Brockenberry Thomas and Edward Brockenberry, Kenneth was a former Correctional Officer currently working for Southern Home Care Services as a driver and dispatcher.
Kenneth leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Sherry West-Barnes, step-father Mr. Dave Thomas, daughters Tiffany Marshall, Nicole Melendez, Shante and Shannon Barnes, sons Kenneth Edward and Warren Barnes, Michael Parrott and Marquel Achu, brothers Andre and Kevin Barnes, Michael Brockenberry, sisters Linda Davie, Elizabeth Jenkins, Kewa Cole, Jacquelyn Garner, Denise Bethea and Regina Lloyd, nine grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Celebration of life services will be held Monday, Oct. 24, 2016 at 11 a.m, at Promise Land Church, 240 Burwell Road, West Haven, CT 06516. Calling hours from 10 a.m until time of service.
