Lillian E. Woodard, 89, of New Haven, born in Lynchburg, VA on June 8, 1926 to the late Watkins and Louise Noble Hall Jackson, passed away March 15, 2016.
She leaves to cherish her memory 2 sons; Luther (Stephanie) Woodard Jr. of VA and Martin (Chun Ku) Woodard of NC, Daughter Gloria Holmes of West Haven, grandson Luther Woodard III of Westport and granddaughter Hae-Jean Woodard of VA. She is predeceased by brother Watkins Davenport. The family would like to give a special thanks to Advanced Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Connecticut Hospice. A celebration of her life will take place on Monday March 21, 2016 at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services; 1287 Chapel St. New Haven, CT 06511, with a calling hour from 10 – 11 AM and the service will begin at 11 AM. Interment will be held at All Saints Cemetery; North Haven, CT.
