Lillie “Beadie” Hamilton 72 of New Haven, CT passed away June 13, 2012.
Born to the late Eddie and Annie Lilly in Anson County, NC on August 15, 1939. Lillie retired from Sikorsky Aircraft after 40 years. She leaves to cherish her memory; son, Troy Hamilton of New Haven; daughters, Shereen “Shebie” and Sheliah Hamilton both of New Haven; brother, John (Elaine) Lilly of NC; sister, Sheliah Lilly of Bronx, NY; grandchildren, Jaeron Hamilton, Najea Poindexter and Jerin Hamilton all of New Haven; 1 great grandchild, Chloe Outlaw; God daughter, Gloria “Shorty” Pheanious and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends; special friend, Dorothy “Vern” Lockley of FL. She was predeceased by brother, Eddie Lilly. A celebration of her life will take place Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 11AM at Christian Tabernacle Baptist Church, 425 Newhall Street, Hamden, CT 06517.
