Lillie Mae Adams, 78, of New Haven, passed away Monday.
She was born in Abbeville, S.C. to the late Jesse and Rosa Parker Aiken on February 2, 1939. She retired from the Veteran Affairs Hospital as a supervisor dietician.
Lillie Mae leaves to cherish her memory, loving husband, William Adams, Jr.; daughters, Shelby Adams and Andrea Adams; brothers, Theodore Aiken and Jesse Aiken; sister, Barbara Jean Dean; and a host of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her brothers, Randolph Aiken and Ike Aiken.
A celebration of her life will take place Saturday at 10 a.m. at Varick Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, 242 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511. Friends may call Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Interment will be at Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven. Services by Howard K.
