Louis Clinepeat, 71

Louis Clinepeat, 71, of New Haven, departed this life April 5, 2013.

He was the husband of Uzelle Clinepeat. Born in Hobson AL, November 17, 1941, he was the son of late Bob and Ann Howard. Prior to his illness, he was employed at Geometric Tool Company as a Machine Operator. He was a member of Mount Moriah Tabernacle of Praise where he served as a Deacon.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Robert Roberson and Torrance Clinepeat; daughters, Bernadette Roberson and Teresa Russell; brothers, Zeb Quicksey and Junior Quicksey; eleven grandchildren; a great grandson; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased a brother, Joe Quicksey.

A celebration of Mr. Clinepeat’s life and legacy will be held Friday, April 12, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. at Wayfaring Ministries, 295 Treadwell St., Building C, Hamden CT. Viewing will be at the church from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Hamden Plains Cemetery. Professional services entrusted to Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven.
