Louis Guess, 70, of New Haven; born April 8, 1945 in Orangeburg, SC to the late Romello Guess and Clara Guess, passed away on November 21, 2015 at home.
Louis had worked as a roofer at Yale University and loved the music of Michael Jackson. He leaves to cherish his memory; sons Adbulquawi (aka Bam), Walter (Sherri), Kevin (Devin), Bromell, Barry and Rushaun Guess; daughters Tashan Lilly and Bonita, Tiffany, and Shueshanna Guess; 17 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and a host of family of friends. Louis was predeceased by his beloved wife Dorothy Guess and brother Ronald Guess. A Celebration of his life will take place on Wednesday December 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM at by Howard K. Hill Funeral Services; 1287 Chapel St., New Haven, CT 06511 with visitation at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00 on Wednesday. Interment is private.
