Mary Theresa Terzini, 95, of New Haven passed away peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012 at the St. Raphael’s Campus of Yale New Haven Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Louis E. Terzini. Mrs. Terzini was born in New Haven Oct. 11, 1916, daughter of the late Domenico and Ernesta Moniti Pascarella. She was an amazing soul whose unending love was legendary and touched all who met her, even in the briefest of circumstances. Always an elegant lady in the finest of taste, she was an unwavering support to her family for all of her 95 years, and took great joy in every accomplishment from the first steps of a baby’s walk to the earning of a college degree. She was the cherished mother of Karen L. Baird, Lita M. (George) Fletcher, Louis E. Terzini Jr. and Kenneth J. Terzini; beloved grandmother of Stacey Williams, George Fletcher Jr., Donald (Carlene) Fletcher, Susan (Michael) Pergolatti, Tina (Matthew) Zajac and Blake (Brandi) Terzini; great grandmother of Danielle, Tyler, Madison, Donald, Nicholas & Aidan. Beloved friend of the late Ruth Lapides Alderman and the Lapides and Alderman families to whom she was lovingly devoted. The family wishes to thank Dr. Kandiah Sritharan and the late Dr. Leonard Fasano for the extraordinary care, kindness and compassion given to Mary. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 81 Center Road, Woodbridge Thursday morning at 10:00. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
