Michele L. Stokes-Hailey, 58, passed away at the Hospital of St. Raphael July 1.
She was born July 15, 1952, in New Haven to William Stokes and the late Elizabeth C. Burrell-Stokes.
Michele leaves to cherish her memory husband Wayne Hailey, of California; daughters Ingrid (Billy) and Markita, of New Haven; stepson Wayne Jr.; stepdaughters Tijana and Mareesha, of New Haven; grandchildren Kevin Sr, Alexis, Rayna, Nyir, Jayla, Destini and Jordyn, of New Haven; great-grandchildren Kimah, Ny’asia and Kevin Jr., of New Haven; sisters Gail and Karyn Stokes, of West Haven; and very special friends Marcus Thomas Jr. and Robbie Potter.
A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, July 9, at 9 a.m. at Bible Gospel Center, 143 Leeder Hill Dr., Hamden, with calling hours from 8 – 9 a.m. Interment will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
