Nuvia Vasquez, 56, of New Haven passed away April 29. She was born to the late Joe Vasquez and Rosa Marie Colon in New York, N.Y., on July 3, 1954.
She leaves to cherish her memory: sons Jesse R. Rivera and Dante Martinez, both of New Haven; daughter Evalisa Martinez of New Haven; brothers Carlos Gonzalez (Benita), William Colon and Jesse Colon (Nicole), all of New York; three grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
A celebration of her life will take place on Wednesday, May 4, at 7 p.m. at Christian Faith Church, 141 Sylvan Ave., New Haven. Viewing will be at the church on Wednesday from 6 – 7 p.m. Interment will be on Thursday, May 5, in St. Raymond’s Cemetery in the Bronx, N.Y.
