Paul J. Thompson, 71, of New Haven, departed this life November 10, 2012.
Born in Lloyd, Fl, May 28, 1941, he was the son of the late Sidney Thompson and Inez Ellis.
Prior to retiring, he was employed at Schiavone & Son as a Tow Motor Operator.
Mr. Thompson is survived by sisters, Willie Mae Campbell, Genevieve Byrom and Annie Pearl Huggins; aunts, Hannah Ellis and Dollie Mae Ellis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by an uncle, May Ellis.
A celebration of Mr. Thompson’s life and legacy will be held Friday, November 16, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven.
