Paula Velez, 87, of New Haven, passed away March 11, 2019.
She was born in Coamo, Puerto Rico to the late Victor Velez and Victoria Miranda on April 5, 1931.
Paula leaves to cherish her memory, children, Javier Cruz, Diane Cruz, and Andrew Velez; brother, Herman Velez; sisters, Reina Velez and Carmen Velez; and a host of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her siblings, Justo, Zenzo Velez, Felicita Morales, and Lydia Connelly.
A celebration of life will take place Tuesday at noon at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 1287 Chapel St, New Haven, CT 06511. Friends may call Tuesday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to noon.
