Robert E. Small, 65, of New Haven, departed this life, February 6, 2014.
Born in Greenville, NC, December 27, 1948, he was the son of the late Robert L. Small and Bernice Roach Cox.
Prior to retiring, Mr. Small was employed at the former New Haven Coliseum as a Maintenance Technician.
He is survived by a son, Robert E. Small, Jr.; an adopted daughter, Theresa Boyd; his companion, Paulette Richardson; seven brothers; seven sisters, five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by a brother and a sister.
A celebration of Mr. Small’s life and legacy will be held Thursday, February 13, 2014, at 10:00 A.M. at Agape Christian Center, 90 Goffe St., New Haven. Viewing will be held at the church from 9:00 – 10:00 A.M. Burial will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Professional services entrusted to Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven.
