Robert R. Williams, 69 of New Haven, born September 7, 1941 to the late Allen and Eula (Bolden) Williams went home to be with the Lord July 18, 2011. Robert was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 1962 and retired from the United States Postal Service after 43 years. He leaves to cherish his memory, son, Lynair Walker of New Haven; sisters, Gloria Williams of New Haven and Linda Williams of Hamden; sister-in-law, Mary Williams of New Haven; grandson, Robert Walker of New Haven; great granddaughter, Shianne Renae and a host of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by brothers, Joe, Danny, and Charles; nephews, Kelly and Allen. A celebration of his life will take place Saturday, July 23, 2011; 9:00 AM at Beulah Heights First Pentecostal Church, 806 Orchard Street New Haven, CT with a calling hour from 8 – 9:00 AM.
