Roberta Williams, 71, of Orchard Street in New Haven, passed away on August 5, 2013, at Hewitt Health and Rehab in Shelton.
She was born on February 6, 1942 in Gaston, NC. to the late O’Dell Littlejohn and Bertha (Gilliard) Littlejohn. Roberta worked at Angelica Healthcare Services for 30yrs and as a Laundry Assistant for Uniteck Linen Services until her sudden illness. She was a devoted wife to the late David L. Williams Sr. She leaves to cherish her memories, sons, David (Loretta) Williams Jr., Dale Williams both of Hamden; daughter, April C. Williams of Hamden; sisters, Mammie Richardson, Doris (John) Wilson both of NC.; Charles, Danisha and Destiny Williams all of Hamden, CT and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by brother, Fred Gilliard; sisters, Virgie Mae Bushi, Lizzie Allen. A Celebration of her life will take place on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 11AM at Beulah Heights First Pentecostal Church, 782 Orchard St. New Haven, CT. 06511 with calling hours Friday from 10 – 11AM at the Church.
