Ronald Bender, 64, devoted husband for more than 39 years to Joanne (Berman) Bender, died at Ct. Hospice on Wednesday, August 14, 2013.
Born in New Haven, March 12, 1949, he was a son of the late Benjamin & Esther (Cohen) Bender. Beloved Father of Kimberly Bender of Washington, DC, Joshua Bender of Arlington, Va., & Amy (Kevin Kirshenbaum) Bender of Manorville, NY., Dear Brother of Gerald Bender of Wildwood, NJ., Linda (Ellis) Golub of Bryn Mawr, Pa., & Gail (Clyde) Cremer of Pueblo, Co.
Ron was a Founding Partner of Bender, Anderson, & Barba,P.C. of Hamden, Ct and served on the Executive Board of the Community Action Agency of New Haven.

Ronald Bender was a kind, just, helpful and very compassionate man who, (in his practice of the law), put those virtues above everything else. Virtues that he will be remembered by, for he will be greatly missed, leaving us so abruptly.
