Rubina Watts, 51

Rubina E. Watts, 51, of Orchard Street entered eternal rest May 4, 2014, at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

She was born to Nelister (Nixon) George and the late Rupert Sterling George January 25, 1963, in Marigot, Comm. of Dominica, West Indies. Mrs. Watts was very active in her church and enjoyed reading the bible. She was a humble servant of God and would often volunteer in outreach opportunities for woman and the community. Her passion to serve the Lord will always be remembered. She leaves to cherish her memory; sons, Jermin (Masho) Gibbs (Tessa) of Dominica, West Indies, Jody George (Tisha) of New Haven, Kym Edwards (Ashley) of Hamden; daughter, Kimberly Edwards of Hamden; brothers, Roy George (Jackie) of Long Island, NY, Randolph George (Claudette) of Orlando, FL, Elvis George (Kristy) of Dominica, West Indies, Heygan George (Kherlene) of Bronx, NY; sisters, Rudolphia George of St. Martin’s, Florence Skerrit (Dan) George of England, Desairee Stevenson (Colin) of Antigua, West Indies; and 6 grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 11am at Beulah Heights First Pentecostal Church, 782 Orchard St. New Haven, CT 06511. Calling hours will be Monday at the church from 9 – 11am. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery. Services by Howard K.
