Sasha Serena Garnes, 34 of New Haven, CT passed away on September 18, 2011 at Yale New Haven Hospital.
Born to Hubert and Erlinda Garnes on July 19, 1977 in New Haven, CT. Sasha loved life, she was kind hearted, loved to cook and work with people with special needs and very creative. Besides her parents, she leaves to cherish her memory; sons, Jaroen and Naszir Garnes of New Haven, CT; sister, Tristine Garnes of New Haven, CT; maternal grandmother, Joan Shepherd of Newport Richy, FL; aunts, Sybil Tudor of Tampa, FL and Ucil Rice of Long Island, NY; uncle, Ian Shepherd of Delaware. A celebration of Sasha’s life was to be held on Monday, September 26, 2011 at 10:30AM at St Martin DePorres Church, 136 Dixwell Avenue, New Haven, CT 06511 with a calling hour at the church from 9:30- 10:30AM.
