Vera A. Jeter passed away Friday, August 10, 2018.
She was born on July 17, 1952, in Nottoway County, VA, to Nannie Jeter and the late Leroy Jeter.
Vera is survived by her mother, Nannie Jeter; brother, Leroy Jeter (Inez) of Hamden, CT; sister, Liz Jeter; uncle, Sye Lipscomb, both of New Haven; along with sisters-in law, Gloria Jeter of New Haven and Myrtis Ford of Atlanta. Vera was predeceased by her father Leroy Jeter; and brothers, DeArthur Ford and James Jeter.
A celebration of life will be held Monday, August 20, 2018 at 10 AM at Church on the Rock, 95 Hamilton St. New Haven. Calling hours will begin at 9 AM until time of service. Interment will be at Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven. Services by Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 1287 Chapel St, New Haven.
