Veronica Alexander, 58 of New Haven, CT passed away December 23, 2009. Veronica was born April 11, 1951 in New Haven, CT to the late Nathaniel Cooper and Floria Anderson. Veronica was employed at Yale New Haven Hospital for 39 years as the Admissions Coordinator of the Children’s Psychiatric Unit. She leaves to cherish her memory; husband, Hank Warner of New Haven; son, Everet Alexander; step-sons, Ashante Warner, Andre Thompson both of New Haven; sister Julia Anderson of New Haven; brothers, Sonny Cooper, Jerome Cooper both of NY; special niece, Lakisha Streater of New Haven; grandchildren, Erika, Evan and Taylor Alexander, Malachi Warner; 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and special friends. She was predeceased by her daughter, Ericka Alexander and stepson, Marcus Warner. A celebration of her life will take place Wednesday December 30, 2009 at 11 AM at St. Matthews UFW Baptist Church 400 Dixwell Ave, New Haven. Friends may call Wednesday at the church from 9 – 11 AM.
