Vivian L. Crawley, 63, of New Haven, entered eternal rest on February 18, 2017.
Vivian was born in New Haven, on Aug. 29, 1953, a daughter of the late Allen H. Hudson and Virginia L. Gunn Smith. She was employed at Yale-New Haven Health as an accounts payable clerk. She was the beloved wife of Clarence E. Crawley.
In addition to her husband, she leaves to cherish loving and lasting memories, her daughter, Taqwetta D. Crawley; sisters, Vallerie Hudson-Brown (Ronald) and Alisa B. Adams; brothers, Ronnie G. Smith (Betsy), Jeffrey A. Smith (Yvette), Allen W. Hudson (Lisa) and Lawrence V. Hudson; a granddaughter, Wynter Olivia Wares; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Barry Smith.
A celebration of Vivian’s life and legacy will be held Feb. 23, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Viewing and visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Hamden Plains Cemetery. Online guestbook available at curvinkcouncil.com.
